Direct Ministry, Brixton (Central London)
Young Life International is seeking a Direct Ministry staff person to join in the 60:40 Project in Brixton with Ascension Trust, London City Mission and Lambeth Methodist Circuit, joining in, building and leading a world class team of staff and volunteers throughout Brixton.
Working closely with the 60:40 Project youth worker, the YLI staff will focus part of their time on developing programs for and working with young people involved in the 60:40 Project at the Lyham Road location and focus part of their time on developing ways to connect with young people in the community.
A strategic new position as Young Life International develops work in urban London, the Brixton Direct Ministry staff person will join the 50+ staff in the UK & Ireland, and, along with the staff in Stratford and Westminster, will join the staff in New York, Hong Kong and Los Angeles, in Young Life’s Global Cities initiative to mobilize and strengthen Young Life’s work in cities around the world.

Direct Ministry (Welwyn/Hatfield)
We are looking for someone to fill a part time role (20 hours a week). Working as part of an established team to build relationships, invite kids to club and camp and tell them about Jesus.
The successful candidate will:
Have a proven track record of incarnational youth outreach and discipleship with teenagers
Have previous experience working or volunteering with Young Life
Have advanced Bible knowledge
Love Christ and Young People and embody a lifestyle that reflects both
Be a practising Evangelical Christian as defined by our Code of Conduct (available on request)
Have the ability to fundraise 100% of their operational budget (to include their salary)
Live in or near to Welwyn Garden City or Hatfield
Have the right to work in the UK without a visa sponsored by YLI
